ChristAid, Inc., with offices in Arvada, Colorado (a Denver suburb) works to better the lives of people in Uganda, Africa. What began as a simple ministry, run out of founder David Mporampora's family apartment, has exploded into a powerful, life-saving outreach to the poor of Uganda. Lives are being transformed through health care, education and the message of the gospel through action. Some of ChristAid's programs:
Ahadi Kids Program - Sponsor a child in Uganda, Africa orphaned by the aids epidemic, the true weapon of mass destruction (just $30 per month)
Grandmas for Jesus Program - Sponsor a grandma, the sole support for families left parentless by the aids epidemic.
Water Project - Help bring safe, clean water directly to villages in Uganda.
Soccer Project - Help fund a stadium so children can participate in activities that foster sportsmanship, team work and physical fitness, reducing crime and hopelessness.
Livestock Project - Goats are $60 each and cows are $250 each.
In addition, ChristAid sends 40-foot shipping containers to Africa, filled with clothing, bicycles, computers, medical equipment and other donations, builds schools and sponsors mission trips for individuals and organizations with a passion for helping others better their lives.
